On Air Monday Evening  20.00 – 22.00

Nicola began at Meridian in January 2013 looking to expand upon her music journalism.

She has interviewed the likes of Ronnie Wood, Martin Kemp, Charlie Simpson and Nina Nesbitt to name but a few for young person’s creative skills charity, YOUYOU Mentoring, in which she continues to support and assist.

From the journalism experience gained at this scheme, she has also worked alongside several online music magazines including Q Magazine, Dropout UK and I AM NEW in association with Metropolis Studios.

Nicola has also interned with multi-award winning songwriter and producer, Guy Chambers and assisted at Oxjam Festival in association with the charity Oxfam.

With an undying love for music and skills learned within journalism, Nicola sought out Meridian Radio as the perfect avenue for her move onto radio.

“Music is my first love, and I love being able to talk about music on air!”

Nicola loves artists and bands across all eras, from past to present, with her particular favourites including Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Duran Duran and Muse.
